| InnerVision provides two basic services,
the relocation of our clients Core Network/Server
components and/or their Desktop Technology
components. We provide the manpower to perform the disconnection
and reconnection services and assist our clients in a support role
with planning and coordination as required by the client.
Desktop Relocation Service –
includes:
- The disconnection and reconnection of devices; personal computers/monitors,
printers, fax machines and telephones
- Testing of each device after reconnection to ensure proper
functionality
- Cleaning (external surface) of the computer and monitor, printer
and fax machine.
Core Network/Server Relocation Service
– includes:
- Perform a complete inventory of all technology to be relocated
- The un-racking (disconnection) and re-racking (reconnection)
of all network devices
- Removal of rails and shelves and the re-installation at the
new facility
- Cabinet and rack layout for new server room
- Installation of cabinets and racks in the new facility
- Cabling between cabinets and racks including cable management
- Development of a Move Plan with a labeling scheme for technology
components
- Labeling of each device according to Move Plan to ensure proper
new rack position and location of components
- Development of a load sequence for the truck; to ensure components
are relocated according to their priority for reconnection
- Coordination with Vendors that have maintenance contracts for
selected components of the network
- Preparation (packaging) of equipment to be moved by transportation
company
- Transportation coordination with insurance options for technology
